North Green
Restored to a high standard in 2019 Dolphin Cottage is a delightful Georgian cottage located on North Green adjacent to Tibby’s Triangle and a short distance from Tibby’s Green playground. Only a 3 minute walk to Southwold High Street and 5 minutes to Southwold beach.
Dating from 1740 Dolphin Cottage has many period features including exposed timbers, cast iron fireplaces and an original winder staircase (as well as a more conventional staircase). In refurbishing the property much use has been made of solid oak fittings and fixtures.

The living room
The living room has 2 x 3 – seater leather sofas, a leather armchair, wood burning stove and a Smart TV
The dining room
The dining room has a full size dining table and seating for six.
The kitchen
The kitchen has a Smeg gas hob, extractor fan, single electric oven and fridge. A Dualit toaster, dishwasher, KitchenAid coffee machine, microwave and washing machine.
Ground floor shower room
On the ground floor is a wet room with underfloor heating. The wet room includes a WC and Basin.
First floor bathroom
The First floor bathroom has a bath with shower mixer, WC and basin. Water pressure in both of the bathrooms is excellent being supplied by a large Megaflo cylinder.
Twin room
A room overlooking the courtyard garden with two single beds.
Staircase bedroom
The staircase bedroom has a king sized bed and a secret staircase!
North Green room
A room with a view over North Green that has a double bed and Sony TV.
Courtyard Garden
Outside there is a courtyard garden with a table and chairs seating six and a charcoal BBQ.
WIFI
Fibre Broadband and Wi-Fi is provided and there is a boaster to ensure a strong signal can be accessed throughout the house.
Linen and Towels
One set of Linen is provided for all the beds. Bath towels are provided together with towels for the beach. If the duration of your stay is longer then arrangements can be made for a linen change mid-stay for a modest extra charge.
Parking
Off street parking for one car is available in a courtyard to the rear of the house. There is unrestricted parking on many of the streets surrounding the cottage and a long stay car park next to Southwold Pier.
Other things
Energy costs are included. We have no baby facilities – bring your own cot, hi-chair, safety gates, changing mats. No smoking in the property or pets allowed.

£275 per night Sunday to Thursday.
£295 per night Friday and Saturday.
Minimum stay two nights

Terms and Conditions
Please arrive after 4pm and depart before 10.30am.
30% deposit is required at the time of booking, we don’t charge a deposit for breakages but trust that you will pay for any damages or try to buy a replacement. Balance is due 10 weeks before start of holiday.
Any cancellations made 10 weeks or less from the start of your holiday will be charged at the full rate, unless we can re-book those dates, in which case we will refund the full amount minus the deposit amount. The deposit is non refundable.
